Privacy policy

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, phone number and the items you ordered. When you contact us we keep what you send so we can answer.

We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled by Stripe or PayPal, who take the card information directly.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and it only runs after you consent. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer. Full detail is on the cookie policy page.

Who we share it with

• The payment processor, so your payment can be taken.
• The warehouse or supplier that packs and ships your order.
• The carrier that delivers it.
• The email service that sends your order confirmation and tracking.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and for handling returns and warranty questions. Marketing emails stop as soon as you unsubscribe.

Your rights

The United States has no single federal privacy law covering retail customers, so your rights depend on where you live. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to know what we hold, to ask us to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah have comparable rights under their own state statutes.

Whatever state you are in, you can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Email theteam@bikestand.store and we will answer within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
